FateSpoiler Co., Ltd. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") values your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws, including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the FateSpoiler service ("Service").

3. Information About Other People
Some features (such as compatibility analysis) allow you to enter information about another person, such as their birth date, time, place, and name. You must not enter another person's personal information without that person's consent. If you enter a real person's information, you represent that you have obtained their consent to have their information used for this purpose. If you do not have consent, please use a nickname or non-identifying information instead of a real name. You are responsible for the information you enter about others.
In addition, if you share another person's profile or analysis results (such as a New Year fortune) with a third party, including via a share link, you represent and warrant that you have obtained that person's consent to share such information and to allow third parties to view it. You are responsible for any sharing done without such consent.
For profile share links, please note the following. (1) When someone opens a profile share link you created and follows you, your birth date, time of birth, birthplace, and natal chart information become available to that person. (2) Profile share links do not expire and may be used by more than one person. (3) Only where a person who followed you through such a link gives their own explicit consent will that person's equivalent information (birth date, time of birth, birthplace, and natal chart) become available to you; without that consent it is not shared. (4) If you wish to stop a disclosure that has already been made, please contact customer support.
4. Use of AI and Transfer of Information
The Service generates content using third-party AI providers. To generate your results, the information you enter — such as your date of birth, time of birth, birthplace, and gender — is transmitted to and processed by these providers. We currently use Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), and OpenAI (GPT); a single request may be routed to any one of them depending on availability. We do not permit your personal information to be used to train these providers' models. However, because your information is transmitted to them for processing, we disclose this here so that you are aware of it before using the Service.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. However, certain information may be retained as required by applicable laws:

In principle, we retain your personal information until the purpose of collection is achieved or until you withdraw your membership, whichever comes first. Upon withdrawal, we delete your personal information without delay, except where we are permitted or required to retain it — for example, to comply with the legal retention periods above, to complete an ongoing transaction, to resolve a dispute, or to preserve evidence as required by law. Where such an exception applies, we retain only the information necessary for that purpose and for the period required, after which it is destroyed.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except:
- When you have given prior consent
- When required by applicable law

When payments are integrated through PortOne, we disclose PortOne as our entrusted payment service provider in the table above, as required by applicable guidance for merchant privacy policies.
Where your information is stored (transfer outside Korea)
We are a Korean company, but the Service runs on servers located in the United States. Your personal information is therefore transferred outside Korea and stored there.

The service providers listed in the table above are also located outside Korea and receive information as described there. If you do not want your information transferred outside Korea, you cannot use the Service, because it cannot be operated without this transfer.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:

- Request account deletion

10. Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics
Keeping you signed in. We keep you signed in using a cookie that your browser sends only to us and that scripts on the page cannot read. This cookie is necessary for the Service to work and is not used for advertising.
Analytics and session recording. We use analytics tools, including PostHog, to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. These tools collect usage data such as pages and features viewed, actions taken within the Service, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and a randomly generated identifier used to recognize returning sessions.
PostHog also records sessions — a replay of how a page was used, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the pages visited — so that we can find and fix problems in the Service. Text you type into form fields is masked and is not captured in these recordings. Session recordings are kept for 30 days and are then deleted automatically.
Advertising measurement. We also use advertising and measurement tools provided by Meta and Google. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to measure the performance of our advertising and to show you relevant ads on other platforms. Information about your activity on the Service, such as pages viewed and purchases made, may be shared with these providers for this purpose. You can manage ad personalization through your Meta and Google account settings.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Because the Service is built around your birth date, we ask for it before anything else. If the birth date you enter shows that you are under 13, you cannot complete sign-up — the remaining fields are disabled and the profile cannot be submitted.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it without delay. If you believe a child under your care has provided us with personal information, please contact us at help@fatespoiler.com and we will delete it.

13. Governing Law and Local Protections
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Nothing in this Policy deprives you of the protection of any mandatory data-protection provisions of the law of your country or state of residence. If any provision of this Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will notify you of any changes through the Service.
